Chicken and Chorizo Paella Recipe – Easy Spanish Food – Recipes by Warren Nash

Hey guys is Warren here and Harris have to make a really tasty chicken and chorizo paella which is a lot easier to make than you may think also remember to subscribe and hit the bell button as well to be notified when I upload new video and this is enough to serve three people to begin with take the equivalent of one large onion cut the ends off peel slice in half and then finely chop then take three garlic cloves and again peel finely chopped and set aside with the onion next place a large saucepan over a medium heat on the stove need some oil up in the pan and then add the chopped onion and garlic as well as 75 grams of chopped chorizo now fry for 5 minutes remaining over a medium heat when the onion and garlic are refused in all the oils and flavors of the chorizo then take 450 grams of chopped chicken breasts add the chicken to the pan and then fry for another 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken has turned white all over when the chickens done crumble into the pan one vegetable or chicken stock you add 1 tablespoon of paprika and 1 tablespoon of tomato puree and add a pinch of saffron briefly stir the spices into the chicken onion and garlic then add 225 grams of paella rice over a low heat stir the rice into the ingredients for about a minute then top the contents of the pan up with some boiling water and to the ingredients and just covered give everything a stir season with some salt and leave the paella to simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on also be sure to keep the contents of the pan topped up with water and just covered whilst it’s cooking meanwhile take a pepper make sure it’s washed slice the end off and de-seed then slice into small chunks and set aside now after 15 minutes of cooking add a hundred grams of peas and your chopped pepper to the paella stir it in and cook for a further 5 minutes this time leaving any excess water in the pan to be absorbed into the ingredients to leave you with a nice thick sauce and after the cooking time give your paella one final stir check the seasoning and then it’s ready to serve garnish with some freshly chopped parsley and there you have it that’s how to make a really tasty chicken chorizo paella now if you love the look of this toilet remember to give this video a thumbs up and you can check out more of my recipes by clicking on one of the videos appearing on three you
